My name is Alison and I’m the founder of Alison Dolby Fitness & Dance Studio.

I absolutely love to help you be the best version of yourself, and my studio gives you a welcoming and safe place to work towards improving your fitness and wellbeing. I danced myself from the age of 3 to leaving school my focused shifted towards fitness and I qualified in 1992 to teach exercise to music, I couldn’t leave it at that I had the bug to carrying on building my business into a variety of disciplines in all aspects of fitness for the community so I enrolled in my courses and went on to gain more qualification in my now Studio timetable.  Joining our fitness sessions gives you a variety of workouts to enjoy, progress and feel better inside and out. 

You are given lots of options by us as a team we will teach all fitness levels, ages, men, women, and all abilities,  everyone is welcome it’s a real community atmosphere and I pride my Studio/Fitness Business on only delivering a friendly workout environment/space for you.

The team at the studio are passionate about working in a group setting that’s welcoming and we all love to laugh, work hard and listen to you and help you reach your goals.

Our body transformations have been so successful for clients the results speak for themselves, I provide tailored food plans, and give all transformations groups a place to ask for help, set realistic goals but most importantly get you the results to be proud of.

Class Info

Kettlercise ® is THE single most effective Kettlebell fat burning exercise class, it uses the BSM method (Blood Shunting method) and is designed to re shape and sculpt the body like never before. It uses smaller Kettlebell weights for ladies 2kg to 8kg and for men 4kg to 12kg and uses 37 blood pumping Kettlebell exercises in a set class routine that works every major and minor muscle group, it’s the only exercise class that gives participants a complete body workout. It’s a high volume, moderate intensity program. It’s a none stop program and is ideal for beginners to the more experience person.

The class will blend combat moves from the world of martial arts incl kickboxing, MMA etc and the already proven exercises from kettlercise into a heart pumping workout set to a specific music beat. The 8 zones will range from Kettlebell ones such as upper and lower body attack and combat core to dynamic combat zones performed without the kb blending together kicks, punches, elbows etc. making this the class to learn to give you great results.

HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.

This 20 minute session is high energy using bodyweight and a Step, the soundtrack is timed intervals which really push you to the limit. Theres always a lower option so all fitness levels can be involved in this 20 minute class.

Achieve your fitness goals with this total body mix workout that incorporates elements of toning, cardio, circuit-style and interval-style training. Build your strength, stamina, and agility by working from top to bottom –biceps, triceps, chest, back, shoulders, legs, and a special concentration on the midsection.

A fusion of core, strength, and a flowing system of exercises that engage the core and condition Abs & back. The blend of strength and flexibility training improves posture, reduces stress and creates long, lean muscles without bulking up. The core is worked throughout this session with lots of different levels shown.

Get your body Jumping and your heart pumping in our Bounce & Burn classes, These 30 minute sessions include a mix of high intensity conditioning moves working the whole body. Become stronger and fitter all while having fun, in a group rebound exercise session.

Improve your flexibility, strength and fitness with a gentle exercise class suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. This class is ideal for seniors or anyone returning to exercise, packed with fun and easy to follow exercises, It’s a great way to include fitness and socialising into your week.

JUMP-FIT is a fun way to burn the calories, it’s a complete exercise programme on a mini trampoline, great music keeps you motivated to JUMP your way fit…you also get a great cardio workout by following fab routines and powerful moves which will work legs, bums and tums.

Our LBT classes are basically a full body aerobic workout building in a whole series of exercises aimed at specifically toning up your legs, bum and tum. These are notoriously the worst parts of your body when it comes to shifting fat, so by targeting them one after the other you’re tacking all three key problem areas in one fun-packed but very effective class.

This Step session is upbeat to some awesome tunes, the routines are fun and easy to follow, so a class for all abilities, come along and enjoy a great cardio workout.
